Q: Where might I find replacement climate control buttons for a 2003 Audi A4?
Does anyone know of where I can buy new buttons for the climate control unit for a 2003 Audi A4? If possible, I would like to get it somewhere other than the dealer. Thanks!

A: What have you got against Audi dealers? I hear that they are nice people (mostly) and their mothers love them. For cheap parts it is sometimes worth calling around some scrap yards, but with such a new model, this may add a lot to your phone bill.

I just bought a 2001 Audi A4. The battery had been changed, so the stereo needs to have a code to be reset. The dealership I bought it from said to go to the main Audi dealership and get it reset… any idea how much this might run me?

A: It should not cost u anything, all u need to do is go to any Audi Dealer with the rego papers for poor of ownership. That is all i had to do.

Q: What kind of deals is everyone getting on a lease for an 09 audi a4?
i’m lookin at audi a4’s and i cant decide between getting a used 2007 with 17k miles on it for $17.5k. idk if i should get that or just lease a new 09 for 2 or 3 years. i live in the atlanta area.

A: I got an 3 year least this mornig with 2200 down for 350 a month. Thats not bad at all. I think you should get the lease.

I own an Audi A4 which I bought new in 2005. I am looking to write off it’s depreciation using the straight line method and am wondering what the expected life of the car should be. Anyone know?

A: Well it ALL depends on how the owner has taken care of the car…Assuming that the car was serviced properly, etc. Audi cars have been known to last a very long while
When I worked at Champion Audi, it was common to see some A4’s come in with 200K+ miles on them…If you are trying to account for the cars depreciation, usually 5 years is the common approach…I mean you cannot really answer this question exactly

Q: Can you fit a double din entertainment unit into a Audi A4 convertible?
I have just brought a 55 plate Audi A4 convertible, I have the Pioneer Avic F900BT entertainment unit which is a double din. Can this fit into the car??

I’m planning to buy and import a 2001 audi a4 from the US into Vancouver, Canada.

It’s hard to find the kind i want in manual, if i bought one with auto is it possible to someone covert it to manual, if yes what would be the cost.

A: of course it’s possible- and actually I wouldn’t waste your money importing to Vancouver, find local listings and browse from there. Also, theres a good chance a lot of those will be manual

Q: How do you open the hood on 2005 Audi A4?
I know this might sound stupid….I bought an used Audi A4 B7 and I can’t fine the ‘open hood button’. Can somebody please tell me how to open it and where all the dip sticks are?

A: There should be a latch underneath the steering wheel that you pull. This will pop the primary hood lock. Next, feel underneath the hood for the secondary latch. Push on it and lift the hood up.

Q: Audi A4 Point of the button behind the console that when pushed by the backseat passengers locks the doors?
Is it like a security feature so when someones coming towards the car to kidnap you or something you can push it? I just thought it was weird that they didn’t put an unlock button too. This is on a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T.
Hmm so if you pull on the handle from the inside it won’t just open? Haha maybe that’s why they chose to use audi in the movie transporter

A: An additional possibility is that because the ecm can be programmed to unlock when the key fob is removed from the ignition, just like it can auto lock when the cars speed exceeds 10 mph, there would be no requirement for that feature when these selections have been programmed.
The trouble starts when there is a glitch or the ecm was not programmed at the dealer prior to first sale.

Q: Does the new 2009 Audi A4 come with a gps no additional charge?
Everywhere i look for a used one, they all have them. But in the features its not listed as one?! I went to build my own A4 on the Audi website, and under the custom features, GPS is not an option? Now on the S5 and all the other models GPS is listed under the technology options.

A: NO… it’s optional on the base model(Premium) and usually part of Technology Package/ Premium Sound/Navigation Package

What are the interior and exterior color combinations for the Audi A4 2008? Is it true that black leather attracts more heat than other color leather combinations? That’s what people tell me: You do not want black leather in a hot summer day?

A: Im sure you can google things, and yes black leather gets really hot when you leave it in the sun. I have to park my A4 with that in mind during the summer. Window tint helps a lot.

Q: What year is good for a used Audi a4?
Hey guys. I am interested in a 01 a4 I found with around 80k miles. That stuff is iirelevant however. My question to everyone is what year used Audi did you purchase and have you had any major problems?? If it’s an 01 that would be great to hear aboutbut all other years are also welcome! 1996 to 2001 models are the same and may cost from 1200 to 8000 US dollars.
Some car experts say that buying a ten year old Audi can cause frustration unless the complete engine had been overhauled just before purchased. Otherwise a 2001 V6 is a wonderful car if you can tolerate the engine light coming on every now and thyen for no apparent reason.

Q: Is it possible to put a turbo diesel engine in a 1998 Audi A4?
I am somewhat of an Audi whore, but I was/am strongly considering selling my pride and joy and buying a Volkswagen Golf TDI strictly for the gas mileage and extended engine life, but I would love, love, love if I didn’t have to get rid of my Audi A4. I know it’s a long shot, but is there any way to put a turbo diesel into a ‘98 Audi A4?

A: if they’re both front wheel drive, your audi may be awd or quatro as the call it but still it would prob fit. its not gonna fit easy but hey if you got the money you can do anything to that car.
